Areas of application for smooth chains:

Removing soft deposits: Ideal for clearing grease, soap residue, biofilm, and organic buildup in domestic service lines—the impact force of a smooth chain is perfectly sufficient for these tasks.

Protecting pipe walls: When working with delicate pipe materials—such as PVC, plastic, or older cast-iron pipes—smooth chains are significantly gentler than toothed versions. They clean effectively without damaging the pipe wall.

Pre-cleaning for pipe coating: Smooth chains are ideal for preparing pipe walls prior to the application of epoxy resin (pipe coating/epoxy lining).
